Desert Sage Spirit Sticks are made with Sage from New Mexico. It is considered a sacred herb used for centuries by Native Americans in their “smudging” ceremonies. “Smudging” is the name given to the burning of these herbs for the purposes of cleansing and sending our prayers. Today, people are “smudging” to receive the benefits known to generations of our Native American brothers and sisters.
Caution a lit sage stick should NOT be left burning while unattended, and care must be used when extinguishing smouldering sticks.
Please note: Sage Smudge may not be suitable for people with respiratory conditions or around young children, as the smoke is quite heavy and profuse when the smudge is being burned.
